CFS Organization Management Update

Please join me in welcoming Chris Harte back to STG Logistics. Chris will officially re-join STG on January 13th as Vice President of CFS Operations for the Western CFS Division, which includes:
- Region 1: Portland Air, Portland Ocean, Seattle, and Oakland
- Region 2: Compton and Long Beach
- Region 3: Houston and Dallas
Chris’s primary focus will be on managing safety, profitability, and customer service within the Western Division.
Chris started his career in Operations Management at nGROUP Performance Partners after graduating from Lund University where he earned an M.S. degree in Mechanical engineering. Most recently, Chris has served as Vice President of Logistics at A-Mark Precious Metals.
In his native Sweden, Chris served as a Rifle Squad Leader in the Swedish Army. Chris was also a member of the 2017 U.S. Men’s Floor Ball Championship Team. He currently resides in Fullerton, CA with his wife and two children.
I would also like to announce the promotion of Alan Muir to Senior Vice President – CFS Operations and Compliance. Alan will be responsible for the Eastern CFS Division consisting of:
- Region 4: Elk Grove Village, Bensenville Import, and Bensenville Export
- Region 5: Charleston, Atlanta, and Atlanta Expeditors
- Region 6: JFK – Springfield Gardens, Inwood, Jamaica 150, Jamaica 151, Kearny, and North Bergen
- CBP Compliance for the entire U.S. CFS network
Alan is currently overseeing the New Jersey facility integration project, integrating both our Kearny and North Bergen facilities, while driving safety, organizational development, and profitability within the region.
Alan joins STG with over 35 years of experience in high-level logistics roles. His most recent position was as Principal of Channel Distribution Corporation.
In his free time, Alan is an avid pilot and commercial helicopter pilot. He has owned and operated a commercial helicopter company based in the Chicagoland area for 10 years.
