STG Logistics has benefitted from the strong supply chain demands of our customers and with volumes up nationwide, we have added a second building in Atlanta. Double-digit growth in southern California and in nearby Savannah, coupled with a rise in air freight imports and exports put us in the position to add another building for our ocean export customers.

Located in Fairburn, Georgia, our new facility boasts 72,000 square feet and twelve dock doors. We are just ten miles southwest of Hartsfield International Airport, reachable by truck in just fifteen short minutes. The facility is neither bonded or a TSA-regulated area because we are using it primarily to stage export boxes bound for Savannah or one of the neighboring rail ramps to be sent to the scheduled port of export.

The facility will operate from 8 AM - 5 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday. It is designed as a drop-and-load station and will not support medium or long term storage at this time. We understand first-hand the importance of fluidity and throughput - having first-hand experience in our key gateways in Compton, Chicago and New Jersey - so the focus on this warehouse is to receive, load and go.

The ocean export operation is being moved out of our existing facility in Forest Park which is bonded and TSA-secured, providing cargo screening and build-up services for air export customers. We are also relocating our ocean export staff to this facility and their email and extensions will be identical to their numbers in Forest Park.

We know that American businesses are focused on exporting a variety of U.S.-made products to markets around the world and our new facility in Fairburn, Georgia will support our customers who are serving that market.
