NOTICE: LA Port Terminal Closures and Service Disruptions
Hi there,
We wanted to bring to your attention that on the afternoon of Thursday, September 26, an overturned truck carrying lithium batteries in San Pedro, CA, near the Port of Los Angeles, caused significant traffic congestion on the 47 Freeway and the Vincent Thomas Bridge. Unfortunately, this incident resulted in STG missing several appointments at the terminal.
As of this morning, the following terminals remain closed due to a fire incident that occurred yesterday:
- Phoenix Marine
- TTI
- Everport
- Yusen
- APMT
These closures will impact our ability to pick up import containers, return empty containers, and ingate export containers. Please be advised that STG will not be responsible for any pier diem or demurrage charges incurred as a result of these disruptions.
