NOTICE: STG Houston CFS and Drayage Facilities Re-Open This Friday
Hi there,
Due to the significant impact created by Hurricane Beryl, our Houston CFS and Drayage operations are currently working with limited capacity. As of July 11th, the Ports are open, and we have restored power and internet at our Houston CFS and Drayage terminals. However, there remains a shortage of driver/CMVO capacity at this time because the city of Houston is still not fully online.
We are working diligently to get caught up as quickly as possible, but please be advised that because of the backlog created due to the hurricane, we will continue to see service, per diem and demurrage challenges that are out of STG’s control. Furthermore, we will do everything in our power to request that per diem and demurrage charges are waived or extended.
For customers that utilize our STG Houston CFS/Distribution services, the facility will open for business tomorrow, Friday July 12th, 2024. We will work with customers on extending Last Free Days on an individual shipment basis.
STG Houston CFS Import Window Pick Up Hours:
- Friday, 07/12:
- 7:00 AM – 6:00 PM
- Monday, 07/15 and forward
- 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM – M- F (*regular schedule)
