Notice: 110 Freeway Partially Reopens After Tunnel Fire Near the Port of Los Angeles
The 110 Freeway in San Pedro, CA, was closed for several hours following a tunnel fire near the Port of Los Angeles. According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident began just before 9:00 PM last night and was initially reported as a rubbish fire.
Fire crews worked through the night and into today, Tuesday, May 5th to contain the blaze. Southbound lanes leading to the port have since reopened as of Tuesday morning, while northbound lanes remain closed until further notice.
