We have the capability, however, the majority of our cargo moved through STG Motor Carrier entities. We utilize an owner-operator model, supplemented by an asset-based fleet of drivers. Our blended capacity model provides flexibility to scale up or down.
STG has purchased electric yard trucks for multiple facilities and continues to evaluate their effectiveness and contributions to sustainability efforts. We are closely monitoring the evolution of low and zero-emission technology and will continue to invest in these assets as part of our ESG initiatives where applicable.
Ideally, you should provide several days of advance notice on a drayage load. Some wait to engage drayage services until the load reaches the port, however, it’s best to coordinate drayage service as soon as possible to get optimal pricing and minimize how long your container sits at the railyard or port.
